Leaked: OS v10.2.0.810 for BlackBerry Z10 STL100-2, STL100-3, and STL100-4

Here’s something for all of you with a BlackBerry Z10 to play with, OS version 10.2.0.810 has been leaked by Adam Szucs (as well as the rest of the leak team) over in the CB Forums. This OS is only for the Z10 models STL100-2, STL100-3, and STL100-4. This is a full auto loader for those devices but there are some bugs that may arise by using this OS so make sure to read below.

First off please remember this OS is only for the BlackBerry devices listed above so it WILL NOT WORK ON THE STL100-1 Z10 MODEL. There is also no working radio file for the BlackBerry Q10 or Q5 so those devices are out of luck as well.

Here’s a few bugs that Adam has listed.

• Restoring from backup is not really working (check below if you want to try to restore a backup).
• Sometimes the OS gets laggy. Do a hard reset.
• You may experience severe battery drain.
• The OS may not install perfectly the first time.

If you want to try a restore from a backup.

• Check BB Link version, must be version .32.
• Revert down to 10.1, like 4651.
• Setup fully, then load 810.
• Setup this as well, the DO NOT wipe.
• Turn off all radios, connect it with BlackBerry Link and restore.

If you follow these steps it should work, but no guarantee so be prepared if it doesn’t. Adam has also stated that if you don’t follow these steps there is a 99% chance that you won’t be able to restore.

Here is how you update your BlackBerry 10 with this leaked OS.

• Backup your BlackBerry 10 device with BlackBerry Link.
• Close BlackBerry Link.
• Download autoloader OS.
• Turn off the device.
• Run autoloader.exe (windows Vista 7 and 8 run as admin)
• When “connecting to Bootrom” appears on system connect your BlackBerry 10 to PC and turn on device.
• Wait for process to finish and phone to reboot.
• The update will wipe your device, so you can either restore all the info from your backup through BlackBerry Link or just start fresh if you want.

As always make sure to backup your device before updating to the newest release just to be safe. Also remember BlackBerry Empire is not responsible for anything that may go wrong during the update process.
